  • Create a plan of action including loan application, pre-approval, review forms, connect with inspector, etc.
  • Determine how much you can afford:
    • Determine down payment
    • Determine loan qualification
    • Review closing costs 
  • Get pre-approved with a lender
  • Determine your wants and needs in a new property

Step #2 – Finding Your Home

  • Home Search – MLS home parameters setup 
  • New Properties on the Market – Determine a showing plan to see the new homes in-person 
  • Proactive Search – In the event there is little inventory of homes that match your search criteria, I will reach out to homeowners who have homes that fit your criteria as they may want to sell.  
  • Determining Offer Price – Depending on market conditions, the likelihood of your offer being accepted may very well depend on your offer price.

Step #3 – Making an Offer

Step #3 – Making an Offer

  • Writing the Offer – My goal is to get your preferred home on your terms (such as closing dates, price, earnest money, etc). We will strategize on your custom offer plan.  
  • Negotiating with Sellers – The sellers may accept your offer, reject your offer, or present a counteroffer. In the third option, I look forward to negotiating with the seller and listing agent on your behalf.

  • There are many deadlines to be aware of between mutual acceptance and closing – deadlines that allow you time to get your ducks in a row! From financing to the inspection, appraisal, and more, I will keep us on track and marching towards the finish line!
